Strategies forImplementation Lesson 1 (70 minutes): Knowing the different between living things and non living things. Students are asked to distinguish between living and nonliving things.

The teacher explains the different between living things and non living things.

Students observe and record living things and non living things in their group environment

Post Lesson 1 Activity (online): Online Discussion

After Lesson 1, students will take part in online discussions in facebook. Each group will post their findings on record living things and non living things in their group environment. Members from other groups are to comment and make critical suggestions.

The online discussions will last two days. The teacher will moderate the discussions and may clarify specific issues or problems that individual students have via message.

Lesson 2 (70 minutes): Presentation

Teacher preparing the class by uploading some picture about living things. Students download and print it before the class. Teacher explains the characteristic of living things. Students observe and record the characteristic of living things that had printed.

Post Lesson 2 Activity (online): Online Discussion

After Lesson 2, students will take part in online discussions in facebook. Each group will post their findings on record the characteristic of living things in their group environment by uploading living things pictures. Members from other groups are to comment and make critical suggestions.

The online discussions will last two days. The teacher will moderate the discussions and may clarify specific issues or problems that individual students have via message. The teacher makes notes as a summary.

Student Assessment Students will be assessed on:Content, the number of relevant connections, the quality of explanations of their argument, and any examples used to substantiate their ideas.The online discussions

Reflections andFurther Suggestions For remote area that can’t access internet or mobile internet, the plan may be modified to allow discussion with short message (SMS). The teacher may then showcase works that are of exemplary nature in future classroom discussion.
